[Plugin: Facebook Vinyl] Suggestion for displaying albums

    So first off, I’ve been looking for a plugin exactly like this – excited to finally see it… thank you! Will be keeping an eye on it to see what other updates you make.

    A few thoughts if you’re looking for ideas:

    – Would like the ability to show multiple albums on one page, rather than all images of one album. So the first image (or one the user selects – even better!) as the preview thumb, with title of album pulled right from Facebook. When the image is clicked, would launch the lightbox type gallery to show the full album.

    – If applying the first comment: Perhaps the user could even do a ‘select all’ when choosing albums to show? And have an option that would automatically add new albums created in Facebook (perhaps refreshes daily or something)? Then have a user selected album limit to manage the amount of albums shown on the page.

    – Allow users to specify size of album cover thumbnail or amount of thumbs per row.

    Anyway just a few thoughts – if you have any thoughts on how I can do any of this in the meantime, always interested. But even if you leave as is it’s a great little plugin!! Thanks again.

    For the client’s I’ve installed this for, they always have something like an event gallery or a service gallery. So, every gallery went on it’s own page.

    I have a couple projects on the go now, but when I look at the code again, I’ll see how hard it will be. I think it might be possible without taking too long to load.

    I echo the sentiments above. This would be perfect if we could have individual albums display in a more gallery format.

    Also, the GUI popup does not work if the page is in this format page-name/page-numerical

    @progresst Oh really? I will definitely look at that. I’ve found many little things don’t work when a username isn’t chosen. Which has caused some issues with the Facebook Apps I work on.

    @lizzycully, which part of the first response, having all the galleries listed?

    I’ve finally gotten time to work on this again, and will take all these comments into account for the new version.
