So everything was working fine, then for some unknown reason my tab stopped loading, but only one the facebook page. It loads fine if you go to the original url. So I am assuming there is something wrong with facebook, but I can't quite figure it out...

Here is a link to the facebook page that doesn't load:

here is the address that is referenced in the app settings:

It stopped working after I changed out the image, but slowly, it loaded a few times, then quit all together. Not sure what I am missing.

It looks like you made one of these pages the parent page of the other. I'm not even sure why that would be a problem, but it seems to be messing things up.

At one point, Facebook wanted you to identify a tab as being in a hierarchy with the "app" or "canvas" version for display outside of a page tab context at the next level up. For that now-obsolete reason, I had a way of defining a canvas as the parent post of a tab. I still have support for that in the tool, but it's not related to how you set up a reveal tab.

Well I tried starting completely over with creating a new app. Didn't seem to fix it. Might it have something to do with security of it? I just found out my host doesn't offer free SSL certificates...which is kind of lame since I already signed up for two years...it gives me two options, to buy a secure certificate for a year for 15 dollars or set up secure hosting for 4 dollars a month. Do you think either of these will fix my problem?

You will need to get secure hosting at some point to use Facebook Tab Manager (Facebook's rules, not mine). I don't know how to advise you on the options offered by your host, other than to make sure you get a dedicated SSL certificate not a shared one, and this does typically mean upgrading from shared hosting as well.

Alternatively, you could sign up for an account at tabmgr.com, a service that I run where I know it's working. $99 a year.
