I have the same problem…
While publishing “test post” to Facebook, an error occured:
Facebook returned an unexpected error: (#240) Requires a valid user is specified (either via the session or via the API parameter for specifying the user.
Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.

Everything is green and looks like it should work..
same error here; Facebook might have changed something to process…

yes, seems like. Yesterday it worked – today it’s broken.
My solution: I switched to another plugin which works like a charm – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/

How do you find facebook Application ID and Application Secret, I created a facebook application but it does not work, it is saying: Some or all access permissions are missing. Please click the button Grant access rights! and authorize the plugin to post to your Facebook profile or page.

i had this plugin already working and then the error occurs…
the fb id and secret are written in the options page of your fb app. if you have problems with granting the access rights try to clear all local data from browser and re login to facebook…
