[Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] App does not work?

Hi – I have set up the FB app as instructed and all the settings and permissions appear green and okayed in the plugin settings in WP – but it simply seems that the posts are not published to FB.
I have seen a couple of posts on these pages that suggest that others have the same issue, and also a reply saying that the app is being updated. However there is no information on progress, nor information in the main plugin info or FAQ etc that there are any issues.
Would it be possible to have at least some kind of update statement as to what is currently going on, whether things work – at all – to manage expectations? Had high hopes for using this plugin.
