I enabled the "Publish to Author's Timeline" feature in the plugin, linked my FB account, and tested it a few times- worked fine.
Then, following the directions, I applied for Open Graph approval for just the "publish" action. Under "instructions," I just listed the process one of my site's writers would go through (i.e. log into WP admin panel, draft and publish a post).
The application was rejected:
Thank you for your Open Graph Action submission. The Open Graph Action Publish used in _[site]_ requires some changes before it can be accepted.
Your Action failed the criteria: We are unable to test this action according to the usage instructions you provided. Please provide thorough reproduction instructions and link(s) to a specific URL where we can trigger the action. You should also test your action to ensure you can successfully publish actions back to the timeline of the test user named Auth Dialog Preview User. Once you have made these changes, re-submit your action.
For further information, see our Open Graph Review Guidelines at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/opengraph-approval
Problem is, in order for them to actually test it, I'd have to make an author account for Facebook and let them post something random on my actual site (which would then auto-propagate across FB, Twitter, RSS, etc.).
That's obviously not ideal- is there any other way to make this work?
