I’m having the same exact error. C’mon facebook, you’re killing my site.
I’m just gonna disable this add-on until its fixed.
I am getting this error since yesterday and making it hard to add or edit posts…
PHP Fatal error: Wrong parameters for Exception([string $exception [, long $code [, Exception $previous = NULL]]]) in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/facebook/includes/facebook-php-sdk/base_facebook.php on line 54, referer: http://mysite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
Exactly the same problem happened to my site.
I cannot login to wp-admin. The only solution is to deactivate the plugin.
Could FB developer fix this asap?
yea. still deactivated because I can’t post anything when its on.
Also deactivated it. At first it just didn’t work, then it borked my site when I tried to post. Not good.
WHERE THE HECK IS TECH SUPPORT!?
I was able to log in, but not able to access the dashboard. I went to widgets instead, which allowed me to access the facebook plugin, deactivate and delete it. I hope this works for you, too.
I had Hostgator log in to my c-panel and deactivate the plug in.
Delete it. Not worth the trouble.
Found a fix that I thought might reference this…
https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and clicking Your App > Settings > Advanced
Find the line “Remove offline_access permission” and disable the setting.
This fix didn’t work….
