Hi eclare,
This plugin doesn’t do that yet. It’s on the backlog though, so it may show up one day.
Best,
Graham
Hello Graham,
Thanks for the info. I hope you’ll have time to write the code soon 🙂
Your plugin works really great!
As I assume, there are no other plugins that could help make this happen?
Thanks!

The Wordbooker plugin might do that, though I haven’t tried it myself. 🙂
From what I’ve read it merges comments from WP and FB. The problem is, your plugin doesn’t exactly treat comments as WP ones or FB ones (because they’re not bound to a post on FB). So I think it wouldn’t work.
And using Wordbooker by itself cuts me off of the FB comment box. All I could use in this case is FB connect which sucks. So it’s not a viable option eighter.
Right? 🙂
Maybe if your plugin could post FB comments also to the WP database and from there they would be transfered to FB by the Wordbook plugin, it would work. Am I thinking correctly here? Any chance your plugin would do that any time soon (if it doesn’t already)? 🙂
However your plugin would also have to check for new comments added to WP (which were transferred from FB by Wordbook) and post them to the FB comment box, which wouldn’t work as the plugin could not the credentials of the FB user who posted the comment.
To sum up, this won’t work, rigth? 🙁
Anything is possible, but a feature like that won’t be showing up any time soon. That’s a substantial amount of work considering this is a free effort. 😛
