[Plugin: Export to Text] Can not delimit data

    Sounds like you have a couple of issues, but first of all the download text file that Export to Text creates is already delimited in tabs. You should need to do anything further to it.

    @wpandrew,

    While the ‘generete* for quick copying’ option does not deliver tab breaks, the export to .txt does.

    When you import into Excel, it gives you choice of what delimiter (tab,comma) to use.

    *He means GENERATE.

    Thanks all. I think I have too many pages 3K+ and so the export feature doesn’t produce data, only the headers from what I can recall.

    I found a work around though by doing the quick copying selecting 2 options at a time (ID + content, then ID + Permalink, etc.. etc..) then delimiting them in pairs and eventually using their IDS to sort the records so they all correspond correctly.

    Just thought I would follow up in the event anyone else has a similar challenge.
