[Plugin: Events Manager] Verification of users' email address

Is this possible?

I want to put in another step to the booking process to stop users from entering the wrong email address. Is there such a function that the user has to verify their email address by clicking on a link to their email address

or

when booking they have to enter the email address twice and it checks that they match, if not the form doesn’t submit. – this was be my preference.

Can either of these be done or any suggestions would be great.
