[Plugin: Events Manager] Username & Passwords Email not sent – Help?

  • The software looks great and I’ve found it easy to use and it should be perfect for my needs – seminars/events for a law firm website.

    I’m testing the software with a view to buying the PRO version – but so far no luck getting it to work!

    However, hope you can help here:
    1) The phone number is NOT being captured anywhere.

    2) When I create test bookings (I’ve done many now!) I have not once been emailed a username and password – how do I make this work?

    The subscriber receives the ‘Pending approval’ email, which I thought might create and provide log-in details but does not.

    I can’t for the life of me see any tutorial/documentation on these ‘User Accounts’ – please advise?

    I don’t actually need my seminar participants to have a username and password – so ideally a way of disabling the feature would be great?

  • I have the same issues..
    With version 4.14, the user could not login with the send UID and PWD, but in version 4.15 useraccount are created but the UID en PWD aren’t send anymore..??
    (also phonenumber doesn’t register indeed)

    It’s a great looking software and especially the integration with Google maps for venue locations.

    We just need it to work!

    will fix this today, pretty sure there’s a bug, not working for me either now.

    I’ve deleted and re-installed and it’s still not working?

    Do I need to completely remove all folders/files from cpanel related to Events manager before downloading again – please advise?

    When I download the software again and enter settings I see all my old events listed? How can this be when I deleted all previous files and re-installed the software?

    I just downloaded the developer version via the link above, deleted all plugin files and uploaded the new files..
    (old events still exist, because they are kept in the MySQL db I guess..)

    you don’t need to delete anything if you’re on the latest version, just upload the file via FTP.

    events don’t get deleted when deleting the plugin. that info is all kept in the database (doesn’t get deleted automatically, requires manual deletion atm).

    just replace the events-manager folder in your plugins folder with the one from the dev version zip in the link I gave earlier
