[resolved] Use enque hooks for CSS ja JS (4 posts)

The page http://demo.wp-events-plugin.com/events/ also seems to load 14 different CSS files and 40 different JavaScript files.

This (and any EM site) could load much faster if these where all combined, minified and gzipped together automatically by WordPress. By default WordPress does not do it, but there are many plugins that allow it.

However it works only if plugins use the register and enque hooks for CSS and JS files.

Please look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_style and http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script

Once you have these implemented, you can use for example http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w3-total-cache/

Ok, sorry, you're right, WP Minify was buggy and I assumed the issue to be in the wrong end.

Thanks for fast feedback and keep up the great work!

minify is good but there's one issue, it's dynamically generated. I'll be making a fix for that on the demo so would be willing to share when time permits ;)
