 * Currently i am configuring Event manager, first thing i want to do is to remove
   the search fields, on first sight this should be hard just by disable the search
   options in the layout setting page however i am unable to remove the small search
   button from the page. please see [ for example.](http://www.blueseals.nl/wordpress/?page_id=29)
 * Can anyone help me out and tell me how i can remove the button?
 * Thanks in advance
 * Andres

 * have you been able to remove the search button? because I didn’t see any search
   button on the link you provided except for the sidebar search.

 * I was unable to remove it mannualy, however i found a stunning WP template which
   have lots of options including removing the search button.
 * The template is Weaver 2.2.6 by Bruce Wampler
 * I would say give it a try 😉

 * Anyone resolve this? I know that I can hide the form with CSS, but in case a
   client wants the functionality in the future, and enables it through the plugin
   settings, the button would still be hidden.
 * Suggestions?

 * [@vparker](https://wordpress.org/support/users/vparker/)@cavendo.com
 * you can hide the events search at Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Show
   events search? choose No

 * @agelonwi Thank you very much! That’s what I needed. I assumed that the setting
   would be in Formats/Layouts > Search Form options

 * @agelonwl –Ah, excellent. I would never think to look there. How odd! Wonderful,
   thank you so much for this info.

 * Sort of agree, because whilst it is a layout thing, it is something you enable/
   disable on the events page only, which you enable in Pages
 * I should probably not call that tab Formats/Layouts, leave it exlusively for
   that and also save myself tying a few extra letters.
