    Have you tried to temporarily:

    - deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Yep - deactivated all plugins. Of course I have to enable Timber to see the error. However, I have Events Manager working perfectly on another site with all the same (bar one - exec-php) plugins activated.

    Just tried reverting to default theme - that didn't work. But as EM works perfectly with my theme on another site I didn't think that was the problem

    TIA, Cheers

    are using the same EM version on both of your site?

    yes - I just upgraded the older site to 5.2.3. No problems as yet.

    Sorry, guess it's the ol' needle in a haystack :(

    OK - I spoke too soon, just gone back to my original site and it is now showing the same error message

    will fix this, but if you edit file em-functions.php and replace

    in the function declarations like this

    function em_options_input_text(...., $description, $default){

    it'll go away

    Marcus, upon making your suggested changes I get this

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '"' in /home/lakeeven/public_html/happenings/wp-content/plugins/events-manager/em-functions.php on line 444

    I´ll repeat with the changes, looking back the $default should have a default value too.

    function em_options_input_text(...., $description ="", $default =""){
