    For the life of me, I can not figure out why all events aren’t showing up in the map. I have it set to pull from 1 category and the only one that shows up is the one I created for myself. The others that were created are showing on the edit list, a text list of events or locations…but not on the map.

    In addition to that, when the map does come up, it is so zoomed in that all you see is the red balloon and a sand colored background. I am fairly new to this plugin, but I looked through all the documentation and haven’t been able to figure out how to make this work. The map can be seen here
    I hope someone can help me with this. All help is appreciated 🙂

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    also, did you do any customization like adjusting map size?

    @aglonwl Thank you for responding so quickly. I deactivated all the plugin…didn’t fix it. switched to the default theme…didn’t fix it…and no, I did not do any customizations regarding map size. This is making me nuts, because I can usually figure these things out myself. :)This is the shortcode that I’m using to pull the map. [locations_map category=”382″]

    could it be the events you want to show are in the past? what if you use e.g. [events_list category=”382″] ? do more events show?

    @netweblogic Thanks for the suggestion, Marcus, but no, the events are not past. I am at a total loss with this…this plugin is awesome and if this feature worked for me, it would be perfect 🙁

    I just noticed something that may help someone figure out what may be wrong. When I click on my event a map shows on my event page. However, when you click on the other events, it says Map Unavailable?

    Hi, I am marking this as resolved, as it was an “address” issue on my part. It is now working correctly. I appreciate the members who reached out to help me. Awesome plugin! 🙂
