Support » Plugins and Hacks » [Plugin: Events Manager] Listing subsite events on main blog

  • Hi, I am using Events Manager in a multisite setup with global tables activated and display global events enabled, but am having trouble getting events on a sub site to show on the main blog.

    I am using php rather than shortcodes, like this:

    $atts = array(
    'bookings' => 1,
    'orderby' => 'event_start_date'
    );
    $EM_Events = EM_Events::get($atts);

    I suspect I need to add the equivalent of the comma separated blog id list, which would be

    blog = '1,2'

    in a shortcode – what is the equivalent here? Do I put the blog ids in a list?

  • Update: A little more searching I found the syntax, and am now using

    $atts = array(
    		'blog'		=>	'1,4',
    		'bookings'	=>	1,
    		'orderby'	=>	'event_start_date'
    	);

    But it still doesn’t work, I am only getting events from the main blog, not the subsite. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? The main blog (website) is http://b-active-rhoscolyn.co.uk/, the “next bookable events” section on the home page should include a Kayak Taster Session for 19th July, as displayed on the subsite, http://www.kayakanglesey.co.uk/. But it doesn’t…

    Eek, so sorry to waste everyone’s time with this, just spotted that my client isn’t opening bookings until 1st July, so of course they aren’t showing up. My apologies!
