    Hi,

I’m setting up a site for a client. I have created two recurring events, each on a Sunday (and every Sunday – it’s a church website!), one being a 9 o’clock and the other at 10 o’clock. However when I set up a widget to display the next events (see lhs of page at http://the39.co.uk/hts/), it only displays one of the events. If I reverse the order displayed (descending rather than ascending) it then show only the other event.

This leads me to suspect that the widget is drawing the date of the custom post type rather than the actual date of the event (in its recurring weekly form) to decide which comes first.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks,

    Peter+

could you check your widget settings and check your ordering setting? Maybe it’s alphabetical rather than time-based.

It was exactly that – spotted it once it was pointed out. Thanks!
