Issue has been raised! http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-events-manager-events-not-being-indexed?replies=8
Events Manager is working for making events post and that could solve the issue
depends on your own site SEO (e.g. how quickly and well your other pages rank) and how you structure the linking in your site.
This are the links to my Website :
Ihr am meisten verlinkter Content
http://www.nrw-party24.de/ – 30.608
and this say Google and the other Sites are after 24 hours in the Index.
And by the events I wait over 1 Month and NO Event is in the Index from Google.
Google crawl over 2000 Sites every day and all that you say is that my Seo is not good.
Kind Regards…..
the limitation of this plugin r.e. SEO is that you need to make sure that the link flow is good because out the box it’s not. by default the only event links come from your events page.
factors caused by events != posts (which we’re working on):
not included in sitemap plugins (working on this)
not automatically included in page link structures
not in default rss
if you added links to current events e.g. as a widget on your front page, it should index much faster for example
Marcus,
i think, this is one of the biggest problem.
I have Installed the widget on the front page, this was my first step;-) And the Calendar too.
By all other things, found i after a few hours a good way.
So for the RSS Problem with twitterfeed you can put the Feeds on Facebook, Twitter and so on.
Kind Regards
Eggi
there you go 🙂 twitterfeed is great for this
we will be adding more out-the-box options especially for those less versed in SEO
Summify is good too
I go to Twitterfeed, because the date/picker is not going by Graffiti RSS on Facebook.
And so i must go to Twitterfeed.
Kind regards
