• Hi, i upgraded yesterday on the latest version of Events Manager, and I noticed that the visual editor usually available in the event submission form doesn’t appear any more.
In my pages settings, “use visual editor” is switched on “yes”.

But it is working fine on my local website: EM version 5.1.2

I thought about conflict with others plugins and uninstalled what was not necessary, but no result.

Thanks if someone have a solution!

  • I show wp_editor() having issues when accessing it from “Front-end management pages” in the settings->other pages. Once you set a page for this, the wp_editor() is limited to HTML only it seems…? If I don’t set a page here, the wp_editor() on front-end entry page using [event_form] works fine. Not sure why.

ok, so the solution is to set “none” in the settings>other pages, and use the shortcode [event_form]?
    I will try this.

this works ok for me either way, could it be a theme/plugin conflict somewhere? the wp_editor function is run exactly on the same line for both ways, so don’t know what we could do about that.

I don’t think about a conflict, because on my local version (events manager 5.1.2) it works fine and configuration is quite similar to my online version (except that events manager is 5.1.3),
I found this line on localversion, witch does not appear in version 5.1.3
    <link id=”editor-buttons-css” media=”all” type=”text/css” href=”http://localhost/wordpress3/wp-includes/css/editor-buttons.css?ver=20111114&#8243; rel=”stylesheet”>

Anyway, i succeeded with simple shortcode [event_form] inserted in a new page.

    Thanks!

Hi, my visual editor doesn’t work either.
But I followed the tip and it’s not the same.
If I disable the plugin, but then it goes. I use WordPress 3.3.1. and Plugin vs 5.1.3.
    What could I do?

    Hi!

You mean that if you enable the plugin, your visual editor doesn’t work on any kind of content (posts, pages)?
do you have other plugins installed, and wich template do you use?

This is right. I can use the editor without a problem when I do not use the plugin. But when I activate it I do not see the editor in posts and pages.
It is about this page: http://www.dighannover.de/ I use the theme felix.
    And I use
    – nextgen Gallery, Antispam Bee, Contact form 7, noself Ping, Really Simple CAPTCHA, Effects for NextGEN Gallery and Google XML Sitemaps.
THats it. But without “Events Manager” everthing works.
Where is the problem. It looks like this: Screen.
