[Plugin: Events Manager] How to show just the last event on a recurring even list?

  • I have several recurring events and the list shows an item for each day, so, when I click on the title of the event it shows the event data. This is OK.

    But now I want to show just the last day of each recurring event.

    I got this working using the attribute recurring = 1, but when I click on the title of the event it doesn’t shows the event data.

    Is it possible to achieve the operation of the first case but showing only the last event on the list?

    hi, the only way (without using PHP) to show the last day for a recurring event is if you know the event id of the recurring event, so this may not work for you.

    You could then create a shortcode that searches e.g. using arguments

    recurrence=yourid orderby=”event_start_date” order=”DESC” limit=”1″

    you can find the event id of the recurrence by viewing recurrences in the admin area, and click ‘screen options’ to add the column
