 * I am using the Dynamix theme, and when an event/location is selected, the resulting
page (I have them set to display on Pages rather than Posts) is cropped in significantly.
 * Is there a way, when a location is selected, that you can tell the page to display
   as a Full Width page?
 * Does any of this make any sense?

 * you can try to create a single-event.php or single-location.php file in your
theme. e.g. duplicate page.php and rename to single-event.php
