[Resolved] [Plugin: Events Manager] Events list shows all events regardless of UAM access rights

  • Hi,

    Great Plugin !

I use User Access Manager (UAM) to control user access to my posts/pages.
The events list of event-manager however shows all events regardless of access rights.
If user has no access rights, clicking on the event results (correctly) in “page not found” error.
Can it be easily modified to show only events to which user has access rights?

    Thx – Tom

  • you can use shortcodes for events list [events_list] then use a search attribute owner=x

    Event Search Attributes

One thing you can do is disable the events page and just enable archiving. That’ll stop listing events with EM and just do it the WP way, which I imagine UAM would hook into properly. Downside is your widgets and calendars will still show all events as it uses the emtable rather than posts table for searching.

Otherwise, you’d have to hook into EM searching and add your own logic to decide whether to show users events based on UAM settings

    Thanks – I’ll give this a try
