[Plugin: Events Manager] Events in the coming week

    Greetings:

    I’m loving this plugin. Great job, Marcus!

    I’m have my site set up to post new events to both Facebook and Twitter, as they are added, using other plugins, and that’s working well. However, as many events are well into the future, I’d like to provide followers with a weekly digest of events that are coming up in the next n days (ie: the coming week). Ideally, WordPress/Events Manager would generate and publish a blog post, say on Sunday night, containing all of the events scheduled for the next seven days, a link to which could be sent to Twitter and Facebook, and possibly a subscribers email list (though this latter option is less important).

    Is anyone doing anything like this?

    Not that I know of, but I’m going to be working on emails and integration of newsletter services over the coming weeks.

    The problem with other plugins that e.g. can do RSS is that they take the publish date into account, which is not the case for events.

    Yeah, I get the date limitation. I’ll keep my eyes open for future email integration. Thanks!
