Support » Plugin: Events Manager » [Plugin: Events Manager] Event Page alters my footer 'page' widget

  • Working in standard 2011 theme.

I have a widget at the footer of my blog that shows links to all pages in the blog. However, when I go to an event page created with the Event Manager plugin, all those footer pages are given the title of the event I just created. So that the footer looks like:

    Hike event
    Hike event
    Hike event
    Hike event

When I click on the links, they DO take me to the correct page in the site. So for some reason, only on the single event page, the footer widget pages are being renamed.

    Can anyone help???

If you would like to see this problem go to:

  • Did your permalinks are correctly setup Settings > Permalinks ?

is this the normal WP pages widget or a custom one?

also, does this work with the default theme?

Yes, this is the ‘pages’ widget that comes with the theme. And it is the 2011 theme that came with installation.

I’m not quite sure what I should be looking for in Settings > Permalinks. It is currently set for ‘default’ http://aboriginalskills.com/?p=123

    Should I change it?

another thing to try is the Events > Settings > events page > disable title rewriting
