Hi all,
Since version 5.x of Events Manager I have the following issue:
Event categories don’t have ID’s anymore to seperate them in the widget.
In the wp_em_events database the field event_category_id is always “NULL”. In the former version there was also a wp_em_category table!?
Does anybody have a solution?

@kurti75: I couldn’t find ANY place to actually find the category ID either (I just got the plugin at version 5… so I don’t know any better)

FINALLY I found it by going to the events page (where you get a search bar) and then I looked at the source code that page generates cause I knew it had to have something to reference a category by (like an ID) so you can find it where the source code is generated for the category drop down menu in the search bar 😉
