    I have event manager pro - and i am having the following problem.

    I would like to be able to customise the event submission form that is used by my users.

    I was able to add attributes to the form - ok

    My problem is because there are certain thing like event categories / event booking/registration which i would like to remove from the event subission form - since these are things i will set up myself from the backend. How can i remove these from the front end event submission form?

    yes, you can do that by modifying templates at templates/forms/event-editor.php

    no, because it is in html format and descriptions are straight forward

    you can use placeholder like #_ATT{event_attribute} at settings > formats/layouts > events format which you can define in settings > general > general options > Enable event attributes? set to Yes and Event Attributes e.g. #_ATT{event_attribute}

    -see section Custom Attributes

    Yes I did that. I have 6 attributes yet I only want 3 to, show in, the event submission form. How can I do that?

    This isn't an option, you'd have to edit the submission form template yourself (templates/forms/event-editor.php), or alternatively, try using CSS to hide those fields.
