  • doesn’t happen on my test sites; does it delete future events or past events only? also, try disabling plugins and what wordpress or events manager version are you using?

I’ve been having the same issue, though my events don’t permanently delete, they just move to the trash. There’s no rhyme or reason to why they do it, and it’s happened three times now.

I suppose the reason this is marked as resolved is because no additional information has been provided of the problem?

    yes

if you can figure out when this happens so that this can be reproduced, we’ll gladly fix it, but there’s nothing atm indicating this is a bug on our side of things

Same here. Future events are moved to the trash. Seems completely random.

I have been using WordPress 3.4.1 and EM 5.1.8.5. I now just just updated to 5.2.1 and hope it does not occur again.

I do not exactly know what other details could be provided to describe this problem.

The first suspect cause is a plugin conflict. Luther, if it happens again, could you list which plugins you have enabled? As you and others have described the event occurring seemingly randomly, it’d be hard to test this with the plugins disabled, but if several of you list the plugins you have, maybe there’s one that you all have in common that is related to the issue.

I can’t see any connections here apart from google sitemaps, and that’s pretty common so I’d be surprised if it’s that… if there’s any way to reliably reproduce this, I can fix it (if it’s us).

However, I’m still pretty certain we’re not doing this, the only sure-fire way is to try disabling the other plugins. Annoying since it seems to need time to happen, but unless there’s another way to reprouce this it’s the only choice.
