Some events are being displayed, but not all of them. The Education category currently has 3 events but clicking on it says that none are found. In High Technology it displays 5 events but there are 14 in that category.
They are not working as they should. There might be a pattern to what they are showing, but I have no idea what it is.
are they past or future events? could be due to that
You are right. It is only displaying future events in the category list. How can I change that to display all the events?
if you are using a shortcode, you can use attribute scope=all
as stated in this docs http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/event-search-attributes/
Also, try using Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Event list scope
I am not using shortcodes. I am using the default code that displays categories as links. The code I am using is:
<!-- START Categories -->
<div id="cats" style="width:190px; background:#ccc;">
<?php
$categories = EM_Categories::get( apply_filters('em_content_categories_args', $args) );
$args['limit'] = get_option('dbem_categories_default_limit');
$args['page'] = (!empty($_REQUEST['page']) && is_numeric($_REQUEST['page']) )? $_REQUEST['page'] : 1;
if( count($categories) > 0 ){
echo EM_Categories::output( $categories, $args );
}else{
echo get_option ( 'dbem_no_categories_message' );
}
?>
</div>
<!-- END Categories -->
In my settings, I have it set to show All Events.
forgot to ask if you are using this placeholder #_CATEGORYALLEVENTS
in your Settings > Formats/Layouts > Categories Format
http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/
that’s probably why, you’re probably using …NEXTEVENTS
It was set to #_CATEGORYNEXTEVENTS in the Single category page format. I changed it to #_CATEGORYALLEVENTS, but nothing changed.
and what shows instead? Could it be you have no future events with that category?
It ONLY shows future events. I need it to show past and future events. I currently have the Single category page format set to #_CATEGORYALLEVENTS, but the category page only shows future events.
You can see it in action here: http://www.webiforum.com/en/webinars/categories/high-technology/
There are at least 11 past events in that category that are not being displayed.
works for me….. maybe you have a caching plugin?
I checked and there are no caching plugins. I cleared the browser cache thinking maybe it was a local issue, but that didn’t help. I went through all of the plugin settings to see if one of them had any settings regarding caching and found nothing. I don’t know what else to check.
not sure what else to suggest….
doubt it’ll make a difference, but try the 2011 theme.
