Calendar Ajax Links / Calendar Sorting (10 posts)

    Hey,

I'm now using the plugin properly and it's going great! See it at http://ibiza2012.net/calendar

I was wandering if there's a way of getting the AJAX links on the calendar to work correctly? Like if I copy the link for >> and paste it into the URL bar http://ibiza2012.net/calendar/?ajaxCalendar=1&month=6&year=2012&full=1 it comes up with a 404 error, I'd like this to work and go to the correct month so:

    a) I could link to each month on the top of the calendar (May / June / July etc)
    b) stop getting 404 errors for those links in Google Webmaster Tools
    c) allow people with javascript turned off to see the entire calendar

Could you advise how I could fix this please?

    Thanks,
    Russell

Hi Russell, can't advise how to fix (otherwise I'd just fix it!), but have noted it down and will try to fast forward this as it's one of those nuances I want fixed asap.

    Thanks Marcus!

Could you let me know when this has been fixed please? I'm getting a fair few complaints a day at the moment :(.

    Thanks again!

Actually, should be fixed already in 5.1.2 :). Let me know how it works for you.

    Hi Marcus,

Ive updated to 5.1.3 today but I'm afraid it hasn't fixed the problem :(

    Thanks

I'll have another check (might not be applying the new links to full calendars), but make sure you're not making changes within your templates that might affect this.

just checked, i sort of did fix this. I think now you have a theme problem. I've made it so the calendar doesn't just cut, but there are no 404 pages normally.

If you don't want them indexed at all, just add rel="nofollow" the the links on the templates themeselves.

    Hi Marcus,

Wouldn't that mean that the map still won't work with Javascript disabled? That's the biggest issue, that if the user doesn't have Javascript on they can only see the May month on my calendar and can't see any further,

It was working on my test site, but not on the demo. Will check this out and get back to you.
