I'm just in the early stages of putting together my new Buddypress site with Event Manger installed. Once my site is up and running as part of its promotion I'd like to add events, email the actual event organisers, tell them their event has been listed and suggest they register and take over management of their events.
Therefore, I'd like to create an event as admin and then sign over management of that event to a new subscriber. I've noted that if you make a user role "author" you can assign an admin created event over to them. Except I don't want to enable the role of "author" because it enables increased Dashboard access within WordPress. Is there any way to assign management of an event to a Subscriber? I would guess this could be done by editing the Event Manager files, but I don't really know where to start....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(Just to confirm both "Author" and "Subscriber" have the same User Capabilities enabled in Event Manager. )
