    Hi, I'm using Events Manager for events, and MapPress to show locations. It's kind of a headache because all my locations in MapPress are also in Events Manager already.

    This is what I want to do: set either an attribute or custom field for locations. Let's say I want to specify whether a location is an arena, a club or a house. I want to specify all the clubs in the locations. Then I want to have a page that displays a google map with all my locations of that type, all the clubs.

    Additionally, I would like to add three custom, optional location fields: URL, eMail and phone.

    Is it possible? Thanks.

    1. you can use shortcodes like [locations_map] as stated here http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/

    2. location fields, Settings > General > General Options > Enable location custom fields? Yes

    Thanks, I enabled both location attributes and custom fields. When I add the shortcode [locations_map type="club"] and set that for those locations, my map still shows all locations.

    if you can code php, you can create a new search attribute at http://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/creating-custom-event-search-attributes/

    using location filter:
    e.g. function my_em_cf_events_get($locations, $args){
