Hi, I’m using the most recent version of Events Calendar with the Twenty Eleven theme.
When I create a new event, I create a news post which all works fine except then when I click the date in the calendar widget, there’s no link in the pop up box to my news post.

Here’s what it looks like in the code:

    <div for="EC_postid" class="EC_linkout_and_postid">Event news post link: <a href="http://asaps.org.au/?p=698" target="_blank"></a></div></div>

As you can see there’s nothing between the ‘a’ tags.
I’ve tried deactivating all the plugins in case it was a clash but this didn’t help. I’m not keen to reinstall the plugin as my client has many events already entered.

If someone could help, it would be much appreciated!

Also, is there any way to make the links that appear in the ‘Description’ area clickable from inside the pop up?

    Thanks!

That is a screw up in my code that makes special characters in an event break the display. I am working on a rewrite and these issues will be taken care of. Watch my site and twitter feed for latest updates on the new rewrite of the plugin.
