• I am currently on the latest version of EventPress, and notice that when setting a featured image for an event, the media upload frame makes image references to blog/events/wp-includes as opposed to blog/wp-includes.

This removes things such as the close button for the frame… I was unable to find where in the code the media uploader is called (as a matter of fact, found no reference to where the featured image link is called at all), and it would be nice to fix this…

Hey — thanks for raising the issue. This is happening from the frontend in BuddyPress or in the WordPress backend?

Wow, talk about a quick reply!

This is in the front-end (I assume) – I go to the ‘create an event’ page in Buddypress, then click on ‘Set featured image’ and the corner close button is unviewable, displaying the incorrect path given above. This is most easily seen in Internet Explorer (yes, I know) since it shows a prominent red cross where the image should be…

EDIT: The problem also exists for the animated loading gif (shown before the media uploader loads). As far as I can see, those are the only two…

Yup — that’s what I meant for front-end. This bit of the code is actually in BuddyPress Custom Posts as uploading images — at the very least, thumbnails/avatars — would be required across different custom post types.

I’ll have a look at the image loading URLs — you can follow any progress I make here: http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-custom-posts/issues/detail?id=9 (0.1.3 should be out in a 3-4 weeks).

As for the quick reply, I’ve set up email alerts for EP related issues wherever I can to avoid having to check forums, etc. Was working on EP related stuff at the moment, so managed to catch up with your post too :).

Now that’s one dedicated developer 😉

Thanks so much for the help, it’s great to see people maintaining their projects (yes, I’m aware EventPress is only in its infancy, but still…) and actually interested in getting things properly fixed as opposed to providing quick-fix solutions over the forum.

    Kudos 🙂

0.1.2.4 is my version but the avitars only show, and adding a thumbnail featured doesn’t work

request why not just add a url field a user can type a url, other wise it defaults to some logo somewhere..
