[Plugin: Event Organiser] Use my own custom venue custom post type

Venues are changing in 1.3 to become taxonomy terms of an ‘event-venue’ taxonomy. I’m not sure that this makes it any easier. In fact since your venues are custom post types it would take some major reworking of how WordPress handles posts and taxonomies to get it to work (which is the reason why venues will now become taxonomy terms). You could also ways add your own custom field to store the venue post as post meta for an event, and in that way link to the plug-in – but to actually replace the venues with a custom post type would require a lot of rewiring under the hood!
