  • Yes – but it would obviously require you to develop an ‘add on’ for the plug-in. Depending on how complicated you want it to be you could use post meta or a custom table.

I’m currently working on a pro-version for EO, which will act as an add-on for the plug-in. But development is slow at the moment because of other projects I’m working on (including this plug-in 🙂 ).

Thanks for the quick response, we are quite inexperienced in coding, is there any way to add another plugin or widget directly? I think another option would be to use EO and just have a general submission below that would direct to the same email.

Well events are (essentially) just posts with dates attached to them. So it should be fairly straightforward to use a third-party plug-in alongside EO. For instance, there are probably plug-ins that allow you to add forms to a post and then e-mail you the submissions (or else store them somewhere).

Strictly speaking events are posts of ‘event’ post type. But WordPress treats all post types the same. So if a plug-in only works for specifically ‘post’ post types – then it would be a matter of tweaking. In the case of shortcodes, this should work universally for all post types.
