How can I hide date in events list? (2 posts)

    Hi Stephen,

All events I arrange in events lists

    - after now
    - pasts in this year
    - pasts in last year

    and it works great.

But, many of my events have the same name, different or the same category, and for distinguish them I put date on the name for all events.

I would avoid a repetition of date in events lists.

I have situations like this now

    My event - 17. 10. 2012. on 17. 10. 2012.
    My event - 17. 10. 2012. - this is my event name
    on 17. 10. 2012. - this I want to hide

This is not on some class and I can not just put for them display:none?
Can I hide that on some other way?

Why not remove the date from the title, and just use eo_get_the_start() (see documentation) to display the event's date?

In any case - if this event list if produced by the widget / shortcode you can use a 'template' (really a placeholder - not a template file), to set what appears for each event. For the widget you use the 'template' field, for the shortcode you wrap it around the template. See the documentation: http://www.harriswebsolutions.co.uk/event-organiser/documentation/shortcodes/event-list-shortcode/
