[Plugin: Event-O-Matic] Get rid of gmaps

    Even though the gmap aspect of this plugin is very useful, we prefer not to add another script to our site. How would I remove that functionality altogether? I have access to our files, so can do it that way with some instruction.

    In fact, I would like to eliminate the individual events pages altogether so that there is just the stream of events.

    Even without the gmap function and the individual events pages, EOM would be very useful to us. Thanks to the developer.

    Newer versions should permit a pagination for event listings. One long stream may become unwieldy.

    Are you referring to the display of the google map at the bottom of each event posting?

    Yes. I know how to remove the display of the map — but I don’t want any of its code to linger, particularly any javascript.

    I’ll see if I can make Google map display an option in the next version. However, a Google Maps API key will still be required for setup, per address validation.
