[resolved] [Plugin: eShop] Width of Buttons and CSS Suggestion... (11 posts)

    I'm using eShop and everything is great, but the buttons are not wide enough and the values for them ("Proceed to Checkout" in particular) are getting cut off. I can't find the CSS class to change to widen these!

    And while I'm on the subject, this is a wonderful plugin (great alternative to the $55 Shopp plugin which seems to have not the greatest support), but I'm confused as to why the default CSS is done in shades of purple. In future releases, it might make more sense to do shades of grey which would fit into a lot more color schemes right out of the box.

    shades of purple? I thought it was shades of blue :)

    class for the image is buttonimg, and for the standard button it is button.

    thanks :) Does that already exist in the default stylesheet? I added it as ".button" with a pixel defined width and got no change.

    IDK, I see it as purple, but my husband would probably say blue as well. Either way, I'd still much rather have had it in greyscale "out of the box" per se ;)

    it was based on one design, and can be easily changed though ;)

    Well I don't usually help with CSS for free any more, but a link to your site might help... (and specifically to a page you have problem with)

    It's actually a client site that isn't live yet. Was I correct in adding the class to the CSS as ".button", though, or is it already existing somewhere in the stylesheet and I'm just missing it for some reason?

    Here's the code I added:

    .button {
    width:200px;
    }

    The problem is that the same class may have been used in your theme as well as in eShop (an oversight on my part). But that should work.

    If I ever actually get paid for a job (I usually trade services for WAHM cloth diapers and baby items), I swear I will make a donation to all of the plugins that I use!
