The WordPress default search doesn’t show product ordering details. That’s what the eShop Product Search widget is for in Appearance -> Widgets.

I thought this was going to be easy but,
I moved the widget to my primary sidebar but it just shows as a thin line of color the same color as my style color.
Should I start a new topic for the widget issue or can you help me here?
Have you tried switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
No I haven’t. Took me hours to figure out ‘Genesis Framework’ and child theme ‘Lifestyle’. I don’t know enough to know if it’s safe to switch themes and then switch back.
It should be quite safe. Your theme’s settings will still be stored in your database.
Ok I switched to Twenty Eleven, moved the default search widget to inactive, activated eShop product search widget.
Search results was ‘post’ without ‘product data’. I did verify that the product page “Angel” with data was accessible through the navigation bars (menus).
Not sure what I should do now. I need to resolve site navigation before adding hundreds of products.
Any suggestions?
Can we see the site using the Twenty Eleven theme with all other plugins deactivated?

You don’t appear to have entered any products into eShop.
Now I’m lost. I have four products, one having 6 options. I just selected the item and went thru the check out process.
At the nav bar ‘Pets> Aquarium> Freshwater> Angel
Next time, it would be helpful if you could posts links to products rather than just a link to the web site. We don’t know where they will be on your site. Can you also post a link to an archive (list of posts) page so we can see the sidebar in this theme?

I only have 5 post. I don’t know what an archive page is.
I had noticed the widgets info in the ‘showcase sidebar’ do not show on the page, hadn’t stopped to see why. I moved the recent post widget to the ‘main’ sidebar.
