# [Plugin: EShop] – discounts

 * 1) What does “spend” means?
 * 2) Is there an option to limit the discount in any way? like X days/specific 
   date/times of use?
 * 3) When adding a discount to the cart, do you send all the list of products to
   paypal (to appear in the transaction details) or is it just the total amount 
   after discounting it with 1 item?

 * 1. Spend = customer **spends** £20 and gets 5% discount etc.

 * 1. So the discounts in settings is different than the discounts in eShop section
   where it seems much more flexible?
 * 2. After posting this question I saw the discounts in eShop section and there
   I have several ways to limit (date, times of use etc), so the answer is still
   no or am I missing something?
 * 3. In other cases I read that because of a bug in Paypal, when the user use a
   discount, it is not possible to send it the whole list, does it mean eShop have
   a workaround for this issue?

 * 1. Sorry? eShop only has one discounts tab.
 * 2. Are you perhaps confusing shop-wide discounts with discount codes?
 * 3. It’s not a bug that we’ve ever encountered or heard of.
