I set up a download store. When we were testing it we bought a downloadable item via Cash and Bank methods. The items are not paid, but the buyer gets an email with valid download information. He is able to download things without paying! We tried to change the setting that sends the download information in the email, but it is not deactivating that feature!

Please don’t post in 2 places, it just makes more work.

Activate the cash/bank emails, and remove the download replacement code from it.

I just posted because i ignore if both forums have different people on them.

What is the download replacement code?

    (@elfin)

all the email replacements codes are listed on the email page at the bottom.

Sorry, but i don’t understand what to do.
I have the options Banck and Cash enabled, both have the shop email in the email options. There’s no setting to remove or add replacement codes there…

I think you are talking about this page “eShop Email Templates”
    but… there’s a bug with it…

eShop is running inside a subblog of the main site,
i go to that page and see the following:
    – 5 Automatic Cash email Template is blank Activate 5
Then i click on activate 5…
and… it redirects me to the root site doing nothing on the subblog… πŸ™

ok, i dirty worked around that just fixing the url by hand, hehe
now i came with another question
if i don’t send the download information to the user in the first email, how can i send it to him? we changed the order status from awaiting payment to active, but it doesn’t send anything to the customer

when you hover over the activate/deactivate link does it look like this:

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=eshop_templates.php&eshopuse=5

    (@elfin)

Correct it doesn’t send one out, but you can via the order details page for that order – just click the customers email address and you’ll end up on a page with a pre filled in form to send an email.

hen you hover over the activate/deactivate link does it look like this:

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=eshop_templates.php&eshopuse=5

    yes it looks like:
    <SITE ROOT URL>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eshop_templates.php&eshopuse=5
    instead of
    <CURRENT BLOG URL>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eshop_templates.php&eshopuse=5

I found the email in the orders detail… what email template does it use?

    Plugin Author elfin

    (@elfin)

Strange, that shouldn’t be possible – but I’ve made a small change that might fix it for you for the next release.

however if you have issues on other pages within the admin, please let me know asap and I’ll see what can be done.

ahh nevermind – replicated in my multisite – will fix it for the next release.

    (@cablop)

Anyway… it is not working according to the feature… if i set the setting to hide those fields, we expect for it to do that πŸ™

in the other hand, thanks for your help to solve it in the mean time πŸ™‚

    Plugin Author elfin

    (@elfin)

If you want to email me I can send you the amended plugin – it fixes similar issues elsewhere on the admin side.

You’ll then be able to activate the email correctly – and just don’t add the {DOWNLOADS} to the template πŸ˜‰

does it fix issues in forms and buttons also?
