    Thanks for this wonderful plugin!

I'm worried about API requests to those supported services as this plugin doesn't seem to have any caching mechanism. Sometimes the page returns blank due to perhaps API request limits.

It would be great if we can cache thumbnails to save extra requests. :)

    Hi @wpmubp.org

The plugin uses the built-in WP_Cache.

From the description of the plugin "URL’s are being curled and cached for 10-12 minutes using the built-in WP_Cache"

We now that twitter have a very limited request limit and that is a problem for all of us :(

We have been looking over the caching and updated thee plugin to version 3.1.0 with a completely re-written caching function. It now uses the WordPress Transients API instead.

This update will give a big boost in speed of the plugin (when the caching kicks in)
