• I’ve installed all necessary elements, created the download file on local server and created the contact 7 form. Upon submitting the form the download link does appear but after clicking I get the following FATAL ERROR??

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare parse_headers() (previously declared in /home/MYSERVER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php:87) in /home/MYSERVER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php on line 102

I have tried hiding the url and un-hiding, timed and untimed, forced download is OFF. Please help?!! I need to get this working 🙁 what am I missing??

assuming the issue might be that I was logged in to the site (ADMIN) I went to Safari and tried to use the form. NO DOWNLOAD link appears at all after the form is submitted 🙁

    Hi aly22,

Can you please tell us the URL defined for your download by checking the Download Monitor administration page? That will need to be a URL starting with “http…”, but sometimes we see people have a path on their server starting with “/directory/…” which can cause issues.

Also, feel free to share a link to your site if you’d like us to take a look at it.

Strange – I received and email response to this thread but came here to find nothing. mandsconsulting asked if the URL was complete path and the answer is yes, my url begins with http …etc.

the page in question is at: http://bit.ly/jx7ov6
the file is a test file, a small image uploaded to: http://bit.ly/j3oLRp

btw, I’ve faked the page a bit by including the working download link in the “thank you” message generated by Contact Form 7. The “real” link as generated by this combo of plugins is hidden by the “!!!” in the line below that.

AND the export as csv link gives me a blank page 🙁

    Hi aly22,

Did you get your integration with Download Monitor working? I am not sure what is different about your install/configuration that would cause that issue along with an issue where you get a blank page for the export. Perhaps someone else with a similar issue to yours can help.

No, I never did get it working. I’m using a separate link within the contact form “success” message for the time being.

Trying to use the actual “download link” as set up with Download Monitor results in the error I initially posted:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare parse_headers() (previously declared in /home/MYSERVER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php:87) in /home/MYSERVER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/email-before-download/download.php on line 102
