    Many Email Before Download users have asked for support and we generally will ask for the following information to help us (and you) troubleshoot more easily. This post is created as a “sticky” note for reference. Please provide the following 3 items in your topic whenever applicable or requested by us to help us troubleshoot your issue.

    1. Shortcode and a URL showing the WordPress Download Monitor working successfully
    2. Shortcode and a URL showing the Contact Form 7 working successfully
    3. Shortcode and a URL showing the Email Before Download failing

    After doing some more googling, I found someone else who had the same problem and discovered that i needed to install the Download Monitor, not the Download manager.
