I love your plugin. I’m using it at ScottPemberton.com on our custom post type of Events, so that the past events disappear from the “upcoming tour dates” widget in the sidebar.

however, I frequently need to deactivate all my plugins for the purpose of debugging some other issues. Evidently deactivating the plugin erases the data affiliated with the events. A bummer for sure. It also seems to reset which type of posts the plugin works on.

Can you update the plugin so that it retains this information even if deactivated? That would be great.
    Thanks.

    grayayer,

It does this to stop redundant data being left in the database. However, if you want to stop it from doing this, I recommend that you comment out like 21 from the electric-studio-auto-post-expire.php file.
Please note that this would have to be redone every time you upgrade the plugin.

    Regards,

    James
