I have tried all 3 custom options to get the attachment link to give me an actual attachment URL instead of a direct download link to a PDF file. My plan is to use this plugin, show my attachments on single.php , and when someone clicks the View/Print Link, it will open the PDF in a new tab, ON MY SITE, so I can actually use an embed code to show the PDF using my template…

    So…

GUID gives me the direct link to my PDF, and the URL and LINK options give me some link full of a bunch of crap that I know does not belong there….

I am using these custom options below. Why does your plugin not allow me to have the link that I want???

    <tr><td align="right" width="33%">%DESCRIPTION%</td><td align="right" width="33%"><a href="%GUID%">View/Print Syllabus</a></td><td align="right" width="34%"><a href="%URL%" title="%TITLE%">Download Syllabus</a></td></tr>

    Hi,
In the version 1.9.0, you can now, choose the type of link (to a WP page/post, or direct to the file).
