I’ve had this calender for a very long time. I don’t remember WHEN I got it, but I LOVE it. 🙂

Just recently, the past couple days, it’s just not loading up. I click on my calender to see the posts, and it just remains blank and stays in “loading” mode.

I did not install any new plugins either. It was working fine last week. I got all my posts done for this week. It just stopped working all of the sudden.

I have not re-installed it yet, as I really didn’t want to lose all my data as far as looking back at the posts I’ve done in this easy to view way. If I re-install will it be starting from scratch again? (I know it doesn’t delete posts, but does it delete the info on the calender?)

Any ideas why it just stays in loading mode?? 🙂

    Thank you! 🙂

    Hi Sarah,

I logged into your blog and you are having the same plugin. Would it be possible to try disabling other plugins just in case? Themes can also change PHP functions like this. Would it be possible to try switching themes for a few minutes to test this?

You would have to ask your hosting company about the OS. There’s a plugin called WordPress Health Check that can show your PHP version.

    Thanks,
    Zack

I don’t know if I want to change the theme test just yet.

What plugins do we have the same and I’ll test disabling them.

I did try to disable one that was the most recent plugin(a couple days ago), but nothing changed.

I’ll get the info you need asap. 🙂

    The Health Check said :

Your server is running PHP version 5.2.17 and MySQL version 5.5.23 which will be great for WordPress 3.2 onward

I’m running PHP version 5.3.15. That’s a difference, but I don’t think it’s causing the problem. Please try the plugins and theme.

    Thanks,
    Zack

Do you remember what plugins we have that are the same?

Just a quick question on the theme change..

I created my own PHP at the begining of this year about, did a lot of edits to this themes function and CSS around that time.

If I change the theme, will I lose that info?

I found how to do the test.

I have a “test” sub domain. Anyways, I installed the plugin to the same theme I currently have on my test site, and it works now.

    Going to check the plugins.

Would really like to know what plugins we have the same though. Might narrow it down. 🙂

I’m glad you found out it isn’t the theme. I’m sorry I can’t help with the plugins. I’m not running any on my test blog except the calendar.

Np 🙂 I am going to upload all the plugins on my test site and go from there. 🙂

    YAY!

WP Facebook Open Graph protocol is the problem plugin! 🙂

Glad I have a test site. haha 🙂

What’s weird is I have had that plugin for months. 🙂

I am so happy it’s working. I relied on this SO much for my brain to organize my posts!! 🙂

I’m so glad you found the issue. That plugin must override the json_encode function. Maybe they released a new version that caused this problem or maybe something else changed. Either way, I’m glad you found a solution.
