• Title pretty much says it all.

The interface is perfect for a client of mine, but I would really REALLY like to just post instead of schedule.

And yes, I know there are tons of other calendar plugins but nothing is as intuitive as this. I have tried every event and calendar plugin I could find, and am really frustrated with how they work (or don’t work in some cases).

Thank you for using the Editorial Calendar, but I’m not sure I understand your question. The calendar lets your pick a time for any post to “post” to your blog. You do that by scheduling it to happen at some point in the future.

Can you give me a few more details about what you’re looking for? Maybe walk me through the scenario you were hoping we supported?

    Thanks,
    Zack

Actually I just realized this may as well be a re-post of someone else’s question. Basically I want to use the calendar like an events calendar instead of a scheduler. I didn’t realize it was just for admins to organize their posts.

The closest plugin to this is the Ajax Event Calendar but of course, that has it’s own issues.

Don’t worry about answering me further. I pretty much answered my own question. Thanks for the reply though.

You’re correct. The Editorial Calendar is just for administrators and not an events calendar. There are a few other event calendar plugins, but they work very differently from the Editorial Calendar.

Good luck finding a plugin that works for you. Please respond if you find something good.
