    Hey Marc,
    It currently isn’t possible to easily export or import your settings. I think that’d be a great feature though, and have made it a story for v0.7. We need to rewrite the settings page first.

    Also, we’re always open to patches if you’re interested in contributing code.

    Seems to be me the way to grab all the relevant info is to query terms with the taxonomy “post_status”.

    The to restore them would be to delete any terms in the post_status taxonomy then place the exported ones back in.

    I’m going to need something like this so I’m interested in doing it, but just let me know what you think about my initial thoughts.

    Yes, that’s correct. I think ideally we’d want the ability to export all of the settings at once, or some selection of them, generate a file with JSON, and then allow the user to upload the JSON file to restore their settings. I’d recommend first taking a look at other plugins that offer the same, and then drafting out a gameplan.
