[Resolved] [Plugin: Edit Flow] Custom Posts Types listed on Dash

  • First, and most importantly, THANK YOU for this awesome plugin!

My ‘problem’ is more an annoyance 🙂 I have the Unpublished Content dashboard widget, happy, yay. It was showing ‘x pending foo’ and ‘y Ready’ but then … ‘1 Draft’

Funny. I didn’t have any posts in draft. And when I clicked on ‘drafts’ it showed me no posts. But I DID have a CPT in draft.

Looks like it picks those up from CPTs as well as regular posts, which is a small ish. I would possibly toss in a check for ‘post type’ as well 🙂

    Hey there,
Awesome that you love the plugin!

To clarify, are you referring to the “Right Now” widget on the dashboard? If so, I think it’s actually an architecture flaw with WP that causes the problem (custom statuses are actually using custom taxonomy code), but you’re right in that we should check better for it.

If you have any other feature requests or ideas, we’d be happy to hear them.

    Cheers,

    Daniel

Yes, the Right Now widget 🙂

And that makes sense (the custom taxonomy crossover). Once I saw what was causing my fake draft notice, it was easy to fix (esp since that post was garbage anyway), but if you use a lot of CPTs like I do on another site, it would get really confusing 😉
