[Resolved] [Plugin: Edit Author Slug] Different author base for different roles?

  • I just used this plugin to change the author base on my blog from /author/ to /artist/ and it’s working just fine.

However, I have a combination of artists, authors and guests. They are all internally classified as contributors, administrators, and authors respectively. Is there any way this plugin can be modified to detect the role of the user and offer a different URL base? It only needs to be an alias – /author/, /artist/, /guests/ can be interchangeable. The URLs would be redirected to – for eg. if aalaap is an author and someone visits /artist/aalaap, it would redirect (401) to /author/aalaap.

    That would be nice!
